You guys out there in LA/CA sure get the "pick[s] of the litter" much of the time [img]wink.gif[/img] ...
Carey is a good drummer, he helps make the band Tool [altho i'm not necessarily a die-hard Tool fan, it is clear he's a good player]...for me, he & Carter Beauford are but 2 of the better "drummers in popular, successful bands" to come along in a while...

At LaVeLee Thursday the 26th is DANNY CAREY, KIRK COVINGTON, JOHN ZIEGLER, JOHN HUMTHREY / Rock-N-Blues.
Danny (if this is indeed the drummer) is very popular in message boards and it's peaked my interest. I'm not a big Tool fan, but his drumming is very interesting.
There some great gigs that week at the Spud, Cafe Cordiale Thursday 26th (Herman Matthews playing Old Skool Soul), not to mention Earl Palmer at Charlie O's. I have got to get over and see him!!!
